Been going to J's for about a year now. Kevin is highly skilled and has a high attention to detail. His fades are clean and consistent. I've seen him cut a couple of young kid's hair and he does very well with them. I have a 2 year old son, I will be bringing him in as soon as I feel he can manage to stay in the chair!

I have only had two cuts performed by Kevin, but so far I have been pleased with the experience and results. Just show him a picture of what you want, and then a few moments later, you're good to go. Kevin is methodical in his approach and his fades are balanced. He is also willing to listen to and apply any adjustments you may request (i.e. leaving your hair longer or shorter on the top compared to the picture, etc.)
On a separate note, I have been cutting my own hair (fading included) since I was 18 (and I am 40 now), but for the past two months, a compressed nerve in my lower back has inhibited me from standing to cut and bending to clean up my hair. I think even after my pain subsides (which it has considerably) I may continue giving Kevin the business, as long as our budget allows. Less work for me to do!

I've been looking for a solid barber in the area since moving from the pleasant grove/mesquite area and this guy is definitely legit. I've had a few bad experiences so I was reluctant at first but I'm glad I gave this place a try. I just told him what I wanted and he hooked me up. He's very quick and efficient but definitely does not rush your haircut and he has great attention to detail. I look forward to booking my next appointment and bringing my son as well.

I have been taking my son to multiple barbers in the Sachse/Wylie area. I found Kevin and my son absolutely liked him and the shops environment.
